The contemporary artist chooses to work in a city where he can interact with other artists, establish international connections, access spaces, equipment and technologies necessary for his work. The construction of an artistic research starts from the choice of a particular way of observing reality. For a contemporary artist the point of view from which he looks at the world is an instrument for interpreting reality and is the basis of his creative expression.

Davide Ragazzi's studio is in Genoa, Italy. The city experienced a difficult 2019. When cities "break" civil society connections respond to times of crisis. Associative, economic, cultural and social relationships are a fundamental part of the Genoese identity and have always been a proud feature of it.
